My first submission in ages!!. Do visit Leanne Cole’s wonderful site and see all the great images. I love monochrome portraits and moody scenes. Like Leanne Cole I sometimes forget about my infrared camera but I need to do more with it. I love the haunted effect. So my offering this week was the Gypsy. But I will include two more here.
The Gypsy, She had a wildness in her spirit and a dark sullen magic in her soul
in tribute to Lauren Bacall, “you know how to whistle don’t you Steve? you just put your lips together and blow” – or of course, you could text me.
We met when we were almost young, deep in the green lilac park (infrared)
Come over to the window my little darling, I’d like to try to read your palm.
Leonard Cohen
Lovely post, Cybele. Your photos are wonderful and the fact that you finished off with Leonard Cohen made my day. Hope all is well with you now.

She’s back! 😻 Love these photos. I’m especially drawn to your first picture. A lovely girl even if I don’t understand all the piercings! To each their own, I say. (I’ll be writing you shortly. Don’t want to rush.) Love and hugs, Linda 🌹❤️

Lovely images as usual. Like you I’ve always loved B/W. Like you I’ve been doing other things for the past few months. Unfortunately my 18 year old fur baby left us a couple of weeks ago see https://whooshingthemetaverse.com/2018/07/20/rip-boogie-buddy/ for the post I made for him. Maybe now I’ll have some time to make some images now that I’ve done crying.

So glad you are posting once again. You are such a gifted photographer and of course, it would seem you know how to enhance your photos just so….they are awesome! I know I read your about page once but somehow missed you live in the NW. I, too, live here in Washington. It would seem you are much closer than I thought but your stories and photos seem other worldly to me as it were. Be well.
