A Winter’s breath

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep– Robert Frost-“Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”

Winter on our side of the mountain

homeward

past corridors of light

snow glow

and ancient guardians

path

out back the lights twinkle

and outside the window

and who doesn’t love a Heilan Coo!!

and I just had to resurrect this from a few years ago- my brother and I with the kids up the mountain with Grieg ( one of my very faves). My brother is in Mexico this winter while we languish on the coast and the kids are now busy with their own friends!

The real action starts at 1:47 I am holding the bouncing camera and not very well but —–the joy is infectious and Little “Teg” is valkyrie crazy while I’m screaming “don’t jump!” She jumps!

To all our beautiful children

      1. That’s a true statement about children. My new grandson is already four months old and I have yet to see him. They live across country. Pictures and videos just are not the same ….
