Still…..

-here!!

-waters run deep?

-complaining!

crazy after all these years!

-or else a state of inertia  😦

I’ll spare you the boring details of that light at the end of the tunnel being an oncoming train.

However, I don’t need therapy I just need to go to Ireland, and Scotland will do nicely as well.

Have any of you tried the True (ancient) Ancestry site? Don’t! You will end up more confused than I was with Ancestry ( Visigoths and Scythians, Celts, Gauls even Romans and Viking and Bell Beakers etc). Although my dear friends it matters not where you are from there are always surprises in store.

My, I never thought I’d read a recipe on your blog, Cybele! 🙂 Absolutely love your pictures – they’re full of beauty. I don’t know if I’d want to watch The Little Match Girl (even if it’s a preview) since it’s such a sad tale, but I’d like to see your work – oh the dilemma! 😉

  6. Gorgeous autumn images, Cybele. The mushrooms look delicious even if they aren’t edible. 🙂 I can honestly say that I’ve never been the least curious about what I might find on any of the ancestry sites. 🙂

Magnificent work, shall definitely try that mushroom dish and yes, Ireland and Scotland rock although my heritage does not come from those directions but from the opposite instead. We are all migrants and immigrants…mind you, killing the natives in the process.

The mushroom photos are beautiful. I hope you make it back to the celtic lands. That ancestry site you mention sounds wild. One of my grandfathers (I only saw him twice ) traced our Scottish family tree to the Douglas clan and then back into the wilds of celtic Britain. From memory he went back to about 900 AD but I have a feeling he made it up 😀 Its strange to think further back than that. North Africa sounds plausible for there are theories the celts came from there.

It is ever a delight to receive your posts which keep magic alive amongst the dross! It is uplifting to see your courageous soul holding up the light for all of us to bask in it. The Little Match Girl piece is soo beautiful, if sad…Keep wrestling with the technically challenges for what you produce is important to our world. Thank you!

Hugs DG PS I have some kind of complex about posting for all to see…makes me blush and get all squirmy when I think of public comments….oh well, know I love what you do!!!

Things got better for awhile and then wham, Nick’s going in hospital Wed with an aneurism!! Say a prayer. He should be fine- it’s not the heart but will be laid up till Christmas !

  19. Hi Cybele — I just thought I would let you know that it took several minutes to see the slide show and the first photo and to hear the sound clip. I was able to view the Flicker preview right away, though, and the Itakos Project link worked fine, too. I’m not sure if the problem is on my side or yours.
PS — It was a thrill to see your post today. I missed you!
