The weeks go by so quickly and always there is Monochrome Madness! visit Leanne Cole for the wonderful gallery!
Spring is moving into summer and the weather has been unusually warm on the west coast. Here is my submission to MM. I’ve used an Obscured filter giving it a dreamy look. Buttercups though considered a lawn weed, to me are a magical carpet.
I call it “Lie down in a field of buttercups”
and the coloured version that I posted to my Flickr and- “it’s ok not to mow the back lawn honey!”
and two more

The beautiful swans image was taken on the Isle of Arran in Scotland
Love the mystical buttercups – I’m in Wales right now and the spring flowers are still out, masses of them!

I think it’s been there a long time. I never really knew what it could do. So much better than saving links in the toolbar IMHO

Just a few delicate petals are enough to spread beaudy, dear Cybele!Magical light caresses their elegant petals, you so beautufully transformed your images.Your Colombine and Wild Rose in mono display refined elegance and you have nicely placed the coloured ones next to the reflective Scottish waters with the graceful swans.Enjoy your day, dear friend ~ and soon I’ll go back where I was left the previous time to go on with the posts I have misses ~ 🙂

Thank you dear Cybele for appreciating my rather late efforts to go through your work.Life often becomes so hectic and we have to put our favourite pastimes on the back burner.Make sure I won’t miss your “Siren’s Bones” post.Take care 🙂

I love black and white photography, Cybele, but those flowers just look so good in colour! Although I know you’ve sprinkled some of your fairy dust over them! Last year I took a little photographic tour up the lane from my house because I was just so amazed at the profusion and variation of wild flowers just growing in the verge on the side of the road. Sadly, no one has any idea they are there because you just don’t see them from the car. I only knew cause I walked my dog. Wonderful amazing nature… Doesn’t need much space to put on an amazing show, if we only have eyes to see it. 😊

I thought the second image would be hard to top – but then there’s that third one. The colors are lovely, but the monochrome is so strong and dramatic
