But I also must include some recent impressions of two of my favourite cities.
Making our way down the Royal Mile in old Edinburgh ( home of the world renowned Military Tattoo ) –hot on the trail of two suspicious looking characters in a still from a film noir
And the view above the station on

and Dublin’s Fair City

And the General Post Office on O’Connell Street, scene of the famous Easter Rising of 1916 and the beginning of an independent Ireland. The bullet holes are still visible on the columns- (go to link Dublinrising for a great video)

oh I love them too! and those wonderful cities! A very close friend here in Canada played in an Irish group and I became quite familiar with it all from back in college days!

I love Paris and its architecture…all of old Europe’s architecture truth be told! The moon over the bridge is an awesome image! But, I don’t know about those two characters with cameras in front of their faces. One should be wary me thinks…or else they’d be taking me portrait! 🙂
Wonderful MM3 post Cybele! I hope to return to France nearly everyday. I hope to before my time here is up. For me it’s the language, art, and food that calls me. Well, actually it’s yelling at me, and it’s persistent!
