Coming on the heels of the Siren’s Bones (chapter 3) (thank you dear readers!)- I’m slowly catching up this week so do visit Leanne Cole and Monochrome Madness– if you want to join in on the madness!
from the Isle of Arran to the Orkneys in the north, Scotland is
The Land of the Standing Stones
(dedicated to the late, free spirited, Jerry Murry of Victoria,BC, who inspired me to go travelling many years ago, and who, I am sure, left some of his spirit in those magical and powerful places )

Cole Island in View Royal harbour
My friend is very active in preserving Cole Island – she has put up a website called http://www.coleisland.ca. Your version is so lovely — and the standing stones so mysterious and magical – I don’t know how you keep up with everything!
