and I hear the music Wednesday
Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness is upon us again and this week I was blessed to be part of a junior dance recital with the lovely Snorrisdottir in her debut.
“Ready On Deck”

You were only waiting for this moment to arise

and afterward I heard a melody in the wood

I can imagine the pied piper and the dancing children here ( not me- ear plugs were in order)
The woods are meant for the hunters of dreams and for dancing in the grove
So Keep dancing
who remembers these guys!
“you can dance if you want to , you can leave your friends behind…..”
Wonderful post! I remember that song; never saw video before. Love your dance photos. Brought back memories of my early college time (started as a dance major!). Very cool that you play the fiddle! I took violin as a child but doubt I could do anything after __ years! 😆

Oh I was pretty scratchy myself lol. a very hard instrument to master! but I love fiddle and violin music. So cool you danced too!! We are spiritually connected I think as I did for many years too (but not in college). You must have been very good!! I love that Leonard Cohen song “Dance me to the end of love!”

Ah Cybele, thanks for that trip down memory lane! I loved that sing in my youth. The 80s were tough years, but fun times too. And your images of the dancers , so lovely, such beautiful girls, and you, such a multi talented lady. Xxx

You are blessed by the Muses,Cybele!Your post is lyric art and you, like a choreographer you have “orchestrated” emotions and performing arts through your spiritual expression.Body and soul become one and your dance triptych depicts the grace of movement harmoniously coordinated with the soul’s “waves.”The static tree figures are lured to “your” violin melodies,I can visualise their slender bodies swaying to your magical rhythms.Your telling photos always touch my emotional chords;you shape my thoughts,my imagery.Happy weekend,my lovely one:)

What a magical reply to my post. I am so pleased to inspire your muse of music and dance as you surely inspire mine on a spiritual level. So sorry to be so long in my reply as my online is a bit sporadic with the more prosaic occupation of house hunting! Something will speak to us at some point!! Have a wonderful week Doda!
