Robyn Gosby’s One Four Challenge- week four
in his Just So Stories Rudyard Kipling wrote a tale of “The Butterfly who Stamped.”
And Jim Morrison wrote of one who screamed
I want to hear, I want to hear
The scream of the butterfly – When the Music’s Over – The Doors
But I think…

The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough. ~Rabindranath Tagore
Wonderful quote and stunning image Cybele. I’m so late 😆 all editions are fabulous, but week 4 has such sensitivity and beauty and is my favourite for July.
Hope you’re having a wonderful holiday.

This is a beautiful representation of this dreamy image. As Chris so perfectly said above your sensitive composition really draws me in every time I see your work. It is undeniable. My favorite is week 1, I just appreciate the deepness of the image. But, they are all on equal ground, really.

I agree, Dune Mouse. Butterflies whisper. To capture the fickle flitter, you have to be very patient. Lovely thoughts and photo.

You make it very difficult to choose a favorite. Why don’t you do like I do and consciously post 3 sub-par photos and one good one to make it easier? I voted for week 3 only because I couldn’t vote for more than one. I think I should have voted for the original because no one could produce such great images without an equally great original. Well, you could. But no one else!

I try to keep her happy. Most times, when I’m trying to be sincere, she thinks I’m playing around and laughs at me. You know how off-putting it is when you tell someone you love them and they laugh at you? (OK, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit!)

I think I like the rich colours of week 1 the best but it was a hard call between that and the whispery magic of week four!

I love how it works so great from the darkness of week 1 to this ray of light in week 4. Truly a great effort to pull such nice edits for all four weeks. Still, my favorite is week 1, I can never resist the touch of darkness.
