The Season of the Witch and the Spectral Lens

The Dying Sun

(my late afternoon impression)

The light leaks through folds of gauze,

as spreading pools bleed into the shadowed grass.

The moon prepares to cast her winding sheet.

I love, love, love your bridge near the lake. I want to follow it.

I’ve got an IR filter in my cart at the camera store. Have had for some time I just need to decide I’m going to learn to do the conversions and push the buy button. Your work is lovely.

I really like that first shot . . . is it daylight processed in B&W or moonlight?

    1. thanks very much Disperser, it is infra red using a 590nm Ir filter but in the monochrome ( I can also use selective colour).. That time of the day really brings out the light and shadow in ghostly and dramatic fashion!! 😀

Interesting . . . I have toyed with the idea of taking either my D100 or D200 and converting them to IR. Perhaps one of these days I’ll act on it.

Yes very. 😦 Greece is not exactly the cradle of hard work. After visiting my family there, the mentality of the general population is the antithesis of what it is here.
