I think I chose a rather different image ( for me) this time and though I love the story I’m really challenged on how to edit it.
Robyn Gosby’s One Four Challenge is a fun challenge of editing an image four ways in four weeks. I call this one Steadfast Bobby and hope the crop brings out his lovely character. I also added a glow effect and an emboss. The statue was created by William Brodie in 1872 and is on the crest of Candlemaker Row street.

Anyone wishing to know the story of this loyal little dog, it is on my first post of the challenge
I remember the Disney version of this story and again…the photos …love♥

I like the tight crop, Cybele! It puts the focus squarely on Bobby, and the glow is a fitting halo for this little gem of a dog 😀

Tell me about challenging pictures! I found my last month’s image challenging enough for two months. 😀 The crop’s looking good. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next.

I like Spot-light look of the lighting on this one. His eyes are more striking in this version to me. Nice work Cybele! How you come up with 4 versions every month is amazing.

Phhh! No one would ever think “desperate” looking at this image. No my friend this comes from the heart and sub conscience artist that lives within. I wish I had this talent!

I really like ‘Steadfast Bobby’ Cybele – you do have a feel for these things.
Love the glowy effect – I see a proud, patient little fellow waiting for his master. Can’t wait to see what’s next 🙂

Such a poignant tale – the sculptor did him justice and I’m so glad my image conveyed that steadfastness!! Thanks Robyn!

I keep looking at your images, trying to figure out how you do what you do. And each time I just fail miserably! This one is no exception. It seems like you added some kind of haze or fog over the image and yet, the texture just stands out. Great job! 🙂
