This is my submission for Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness this week. 2-9 on the theme of fences- so I tried to get off mine ( decisions!!) and took a few images around my neighbourhood. Believe it or not, one of the photos in my mosaic was taken with my old Kodak easy share!! Add a little effect in Photoshop and voila.
I’ve been a bit “blogged” down lately but hopefully have caught up with everyone. I am moving at a snail’s pace and it’s the longest bloody fence I’ve traveled on for awhile! 🙂

Walking at a snail’s pace is good sometimes. I don’t like snails but it looks gorgeous in your photo…a little bit of “Moon” touch, I guess. 😉

I am taking the month off. It is spring, beautiful, warm weather, my vacation is around the corner, two weeks in Italy…so I decided to take a break from blogging. I realized I started this blog to share my work with the world, but it soon turned out to be a work in itself. Schedules, working assignments, doing various challenges…left me depleted. So, I am stepping back and returning to the beginnings. I will go out, take photos, write stories, poems and share them with the world when I am ready.
Your images are beautiful as always, the fence is shrouded in the veil of mystery and the snail put the smile on my face.

That snail has a wonderful colour shell, and superb view from those Dallas Road cliffs. “Blogged down” is a good description of falling behind looking at other people’s blogs. I find myself getting quite stressed these days, if I think I’m neglecting everyone. Was away for a few days this week, visiting my daughter in the Isle of Wight, and now can’t begin to catch up with all the unread posts, so I’m just going to have to calm down and accept that there are not enough hours in the day to read and comment on as many people’s posts as I’d like to, and still have time to do my novel writing. …But I do love you all, so it’s very hard.
I think, Cybele, that both of us need to take some deep breaths and not suffer from bloggers’ guilt! Neither of us are superhuman.
