I guess that’s why they call it the blurs

The Daily post challenge – Blur

I chose soft blurs some of which were already in my collection. Though I entered this challenge a bit late I love dreamy images and I think the blurs help!

Spencer Dance Company  ( 12-14 year olds)

Ghosts that we knew
We must never forget the Ghosts that we knew
“All that we see is a dream within a dream”
The swan

  25. Very interesting post, Cybele. How ironic that tack-sharp images are constantly lauded as the industry standard for photography when a little creative bokeh is what many people react positively to. Yes, there usually needs to be a sweet spot of focus to serve as a visual anchor; but that dreamy quality blur gives can truly transport the viewer. And it can even help draw attention to your subject in a way similar to vignetting.
