I’m going with the The Daily Post theme of Fresh today.
Living on the soggy west coast I might as well appeciate the freshness of rain on a Magnolia tree and our island saying of “if you don’t like the weather just wait five minutes!”
and on the lawn, raindrops have turned dandelion puffs into glittering fibre optic lamp posts as the sun shines briefly through the clouds
and after the rain a bumble bee smells the fragrance of freshly washed- and hanging to dry- wild roses (this was last’s post’s Monochrome Madness submission- for you Sarah Potter as per request!) – To see it in monochrome
In all of these I used a colour filter and on the wildrose I used a PS fresco filter to enhance. The first two were taken with an 18-55 lens (Canon Rebel EOS t4i) and the third was a pocket Kodak EasyShare!

All three are really delightful and rich in colour!Loved them all,but I particularly liked the light on the dandelion puff!

Did you watch a movie called A Bug’s Life. It’s a 1998 animation about a colony of ants terrorized by grasshoppers. The hero used one of those dandelion puffs as a parachute to fly off the island. It is a great movie, and now that you’ve made me remember it, I must re-watch it.

Gorgeous Cybele, the colours are singing – they look very voluptuous. It’s a rainy day here today – I love the definition rain gives to the world.

I started with an aww then an oooh and then a bit of both, each flower scrolling up was magnificent and elicited different sounds… so beautiful Cybele, I do love a good dandelion too. Your effect just gives it that mystical feel without taking away anything from the shot 🙂
