the second year of a magnificent Monochrome Madness (week one) from photographer/artist Leanne Cole. I love the mysteries and moodiness of Monochrome and am happy to participate in this event. It somehow suits my joyful melancholia!! Others too have a great empathy for it so do visit the above link for all the wonderful offerings.
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity. Edgar Allan Poe

Here are a few more! I added a touch of coloured filter to a few. I liked the effect.
Great monochrome photos, personally I prefer the ones without colores filters.

Oooh, joyful melancholia – I totally get that! I also totally adore your style, Cybele, I love the light shining on the balcony of the castle, it gives a nice emotion to the somber shadows. I also love the fountain, I said when I saw it, there it is! The splashing fountain! Only maybe it’s fajr, and still mostly dark… ❤❤❤;^))))

I am sure there is!! But I’ve been a bit blocked up these days- I will I will!!

I know what you mean by being blocked up, as the last few months have not been hugely creative for me — just little snatches of inspiration here and there. Life exigencies kind of take over and it’s just best to go with the flow, rather than fight it, and eventually the spirit will move. I think if we just keep our creativity gently ticking over, then it will burst forth with new fire, like spring flowers coming into bloom.
