Spring arrives early on the west coast of Vancouver Island and along with it the sun at long last!! Though just wait five minutes!!

There is a void in your soul, ready to be filled.
You feel it, don’t you?”

The sun is playing games with me today. A bright start to the day. Five minutes after I hung out the washing, clouds swept in from the NW. Immediately I took my dog out for a walk, rain bucketed from the sky. Returned home, brought in the washing. Put it in the machine to spin off all the rain that had drenched it. Hung the clothes in the bathroom. Sun came out again! That being said, the garden is full of buds and promising shoots, but no blossom as far advanced as that in your beautiful pictures.

I love your day so far, chop wood and carry water before and after enlightenment!! 😀 Thanks so much for your comment. It is an early spring -but there is a bit of frost this morning so …….. hoping flowers will be ok!!

Cybele, these shots are beautiful! I’m particularly fond of cherry trees (being in Washington, DC, spring brings their beauty alive around the DC monuments) and your image captures their ethereal beauty perfectly.

Love the top image of the cherry blossoms! The dark background really makes it pop. Years ago we had a Bing Cherry tree that produced the sweetest cherries. It got old and died sadly. We’ve never replaced it, but miss the blossoms and fruit every year.

yes ours did too!! 😦 But Victoria is called the garden city and we are ecstatically smothered in blossoming trees!! Thank you Deborah!
