Week Three of Robyn Gosby’s One Four Challenge
…..dolphins raced in the wake and clamoring gulls filled the wind…. and the ship‘s bell as the sky flooded gold at sunset.
the short story A Canticle for Meg
I cropped this one and again used an overlay of antique and gold to hopefully give it a glow from the setting sun look.
I like the antique overlay on this Cybele. My favourite so far.

Your editing gives the image so many layers of interpretation. My first impression is the juxtaposition of the life cycle as exemplified by the ocean and the pearls that are discovered. The never-ending life that teems around the sea.

Ah, the yellowed tone speaks of a photo taken out of an old trunk in the attic and bringing with it, the smell and sounds of the sea 🙂

Will do, Cybele. I’m very behind with blogging and must have missed those posts of yours. Have had a lot of family stuff to deal with, plus excessive tiredness that’s making me slower than usual with everything. Hopefully I’ll get back into my routine soon.

Hi Cybele – I was looking forward to seeing those lustrous pearls again! I like the overlay of the edit and the last, and the warm glow, although I think that with the nautical theme, the blue hue works better. Very nice work as always.
