I’m joining Robyn Gosby’s One Four Challenge on her beautiful blog Captivate me. I’m a bit late as the challenge began Nov 1. Due to my injury and the weather I’ve not been out much photographing. This was among my first photos that I took around two years ago with a Canon Powershot. I became enthralled and thus began my photographic journey.
I love poppies and it will be fun to process them in different ways ( I hope). There was a bit of light on the garden as the sun went down. I used just a breath of solarization and a soft focus on this.

This is fantastic. I like both of these images, very moody. Of the two, I think I like the first one better, it seems more natural.

This photograph reminds me of what it might look like after just wakening from a catnap in this field. The poppies bright the rest of everything muted and soft. It is lovely. Looking forward to seeing where this image expands. It looks like you have a beautiful photo to work with.

Great shot Cyb……love the way the light catches the flower heads, leaving the background to fade into a blurry darkness.
