Does the poetry of sunlight and colour speak to you
or do you prefer the will o’ the wisps and fire fly torches that emerge from the dark shadows.

I like both almost equally! The color shots are more magical for me and the monos have a very different but equally awesome feeling. These are great photos whether done in color or black and white! Of course, that’s my own opinion. 🙂

I can’t help it….I like the color. There is just something very glowy and warm and wonderful when i see the color images. They seem to have a bit more depth to me. But then you know how much I love color. lol

With these particular images, I think that colour works better. But others you’ve posted lend better to monochrome; especially the ones of spooky buildings.

The spider web feels more dramatic in B&W, but the waterfalls are exquisite in color (in my most humble opinion, Cybele!). ♥

I can’t vote! They’re very different from one another, but I like both versions for different reasons. The golden light in the color spider web photo is gorgeous, but then the B&W makes the water droplets sparkle. The fairy glen photos have completely different moods; the color one has cool, refreshing feel – a place to rest during a long walk, and the B&W seems more mysterious with fairy lights on the trees and the leaves in the water. Choose? No way! But it’s interesting to see both and think about their differences.

I voted for colour Cybele – mainly for the spider webs , I think perhaps monochrome for the fairy glen. It was a difficult choice, I love silver so I enjoyed the silver silk, but in the end, those russets and sepias won out 🙂
