I Sing the Body Eclectic

Night Bird by Deep Forest  I love the music of  this French group and ethnic electronica.

Most of my days of wonder are filled with very diverse adventures and chance! And as Robbie Burns says the best laid plans of mice and men go awry so I try to make as few plans as possible though baseball games and concerts are exceptions of course!

And there is always time for music and dance!!

So I present a Junior Fastball game 12-14 yr division ( almost missed the home run) , a walk in the deep forest, a dance recital endorsed by Victoria Performing Arts Council, with Spencer Middle School students performing a very mature and moving piece entitled Ghost That We Knew, that brought tears to my eyes, (not an easy feat to photograph either),  my swan maiden  in monochrome for Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness, and some delightful denizens of my deck which is at last coming back to life!

  3. Hello Shelob! Now don’t you go eating Cybele, or else I’ll go and blow up your mountain and bury you under the rockfall. And let me tell you, contemporary hobbits are taller than they used to be, so beware my eight-legged friend. I’m watching you and will instant message some of those hobbits if you make one false move.

PS That speech was written under the influence of afternoon tea and cherry cake.

      1. It’s yummy that cake. One of my inventions — a variation on marmalade cake, with raspberry jam instead of marmalade, and dark glace cherries instead of dried mixed fruit.
