I dreamed a dream

Cee Neuner’s Flower challenge

Flowers are not my forte, as I’m told most of my photos are pleasantly gothic and moody!  but occasionally I do take a  flower photo I like.   Considering my gardening experience I haven’t mastered the art of floral photography and macro but I walk the estuary and the woodland park nearby and there are plenty to choose  of both wild and cultivated varieties.   I took many photos yesterday and rejected all except two. The echinacea is one from last summer and the tulips and woodland lily are taken from a recent  post.

Thank you Karis Macey  author of “Upon His Deathbed”  for the “Press”

    1. Cee’s challenges are fun! I’m so glad you like my blog as I love your story. I get a vicarious pleasure thinking about your life in Egypt having done some travel myself in that part of the world . I also lived in Athens Greece for a couple of years.

  9. We are all our own harshest critics – if these are not great flower/plant pictures, then surely I don’t know what are. Yes, they have a bit of your style in them, but that is how it should be. Plus you are doing great with your PnS digital!
